“Escape” or “Struggle” “Fashion” is a word recognized by atmospheres including something very
charming, disgusting or no meanings. Personally I think it regrettable when it
is treated as “resentment”. I think the thing’s pure background will be appeared
when any extra things attached around “the expression” are took off.
For that purpose, escaping from daily life to a museum would be a useful way. However, it would also cause a very strange situation which is adhered to other extra things. When I needed a stirring movement to clear all the impurities, I found the very best place, the exhibition “Independent”. This exhibition “Independent” is a place of chaos, which is open to any expressions for better or worse. In this chaotic situation, “Significance” will be treated curtly. With stirring other expressions, we challenge to win the game by picking up clothes. At this moment, what will appear and whether we can win or lose are our struggles. We will exhibit our project itself. Under treated meaninglessly, we tried to prepare very common situation as a tactics on the contrary. One of the examples for “the place where the fashion meets the common” will be “a fitting room”. We would not like to display something, but would like to have a dialogue through fighting.
